Cool Logo Clock

logo_clock

Thanks to the good people at Brand New, I found this really cool logo clock. Created by Tanner Woodford, a student at Arizona State, the clock really shows just how many logos we are exposed to on a daily basis.

Tanner kept a log of all the logos he saw during the course of the day, and then arranged them around the face of a clock based on when he saw them. In total, Tanner saw 1,035 logos on this particular day.

One of my favorite things about the clock is that you can map out just what he was doing throughout the day based on the logos. Looks like he was driving at 8am and 6pm, blogging at 4pm, makin’ whoopie at 9pm and kicking back with some cold ones at 10pm.

One questions though. Why did he see the Staples logo so many times? Does he live next to a Staples or just have a love of all things office supply?
