If you ever want to fall deep into your work then Explosions in the Sky is the music for you. A 4-person band out of Austin, Texas known for their slow-building instrumental mini-symphonies, Explosions in the Sky create relaxing and uplifting music.

Primarily known for their work on the Friday Night Lights soundtrack Explosions in the Sky has been making music since 1999. Perfect for work when you are in the early concept phase, Explosions in the Sky should be on any designer’s iPod.

    I find “The Earth is not a Cold Dead Place” to be their best album to have in the backround while concentrating on other things. However it is also perfect if it is the only thing you are concentrating on, as the progression of the album and the sotries the songs tell can warrent ones full attension. They are also incredible live.
