From the director of Titanic comes…. PAPYRUS!

So the teaser trailer for James Cameron’s upcoming Sci-Fi movie Avatar came out today. While the movie is highly anticipated and the trailer looks pretty cool, I was totally taken out of the experience when my least-favorite font reared its ugly head.
Why, oh why did they have to use Papyrus! I can deal with the title being a modified version of the font, but when I saw the above image appear on my screen it made my heart sink. I would have taken Trajan over this any day.
Aside from that small blip, the movie looks like its gonna be a great time!
Interesting slant on the subject matter. Title card font.
Looks pretty good. Don’t know if this is the groundbreaking technical achievement they are claiming.

oh man.. i’m in the same boat.. i noticed it at inglorious bastards.. had to take a photo
I don’t understand why people are getting butt-hurt over papyrus. I always thought it was a cool font.
Anything you can find to nerdrage over I guess.
